The Itinerary is following:
Day 1
• Pick up at Dublin City Center at 8:00am.
• First stop is Donegal Town where you will be given a tour of the town and enjoy a meal at one of many unique restaurants in the area.
Day 2
• You will receive a tour of the Glenveagh Castle in the morning.
• Then a walking tour of the surrounding valley, this portion of the walk will take 4hours, and show you the exquisite beauty of the surrounding landscape and wildlife.
Day 3
• The walking tour then continues to the Slieve League Cliffs, where you will be able to scale the amazing mountains.
• The distance is 10.5km or 6.5 miles and the ascent is 535m or 1,750ft.
• Please be advised that the summit climb will only take place under favorable weather conditions for safety.
Day 4
• You will visit Mount Errigal, aka. Mother of Donegal, this section of the tour will take approximately 3hours.
• After lunch you will be able to explore the beach in Gaeltacht Region.
Day 5
• Today the walking tour will start heading towards Sligo.
• First stop is Rosnowlagh Beach.
• After lunch you will have a walking tour of Sligo town.
• At this time you can arrange for seaweed bathes and will be checking into the Markee Castle.
• In the evening there will be dinner, ghost stories and you will be free to roam about the grounds or to go horse riding at the Markee Castle stables.
Day 6
• On your walking tour today you will explore Yeats country as well as Drumcliff region.
• Later in the day the walking tour will visit Glencar Waterfall.
Day 7
• Today you will be given a choice of walking tours, your first option is the Ben Bulben tour or you can visit the Sligo/Fermanagh border, both walking tours are circular.
• In the evening there will be music and dance back at the Markee Castle.
Day 8
• The walking tour will head back to Dublin, visiting the Lough Key Forest Park.
