The Experience

Get out-doors and dirty enjoying two of Ireland's top activities hovercrafting, Rage Buggy driving and one night stay at a luxury AA 4-star Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Co. Cavan.

Piloting a solo hovercraft is genuinely like nothing else you've ever experienced! Hovercraft flies across land and water on a cushion of air created and powered by a large fan mounted behind the pilot. If you can imagine sliding on ice in a vehicle which is part jet ski, part air plane you're close! Our unique hovercrafting Grand Prix course comprises of a grass section which leads you out onto open water before turning back to land again - it’s scarily good! Tuition and 5 practice laps take place before a 10 lap race against the clock, a final, and a bottle of bubbly for the winner.

Then its time for an awesome 20 lap Rage Buggy Rally. 100% guaranteed the best fun on four wheels! This is the only venue in Ireland offering these class buggies on a purpose built hard surface rallying course. Our awesome machines will really impress you with their attitude! Rage 620cc Buggies are top of the range, tough, fast and tail-happy, and combined with the most demanding and exciting tracks anywhere, this is an incredible rallying experience! Once behind the wheel you'll really enjoy the thrill of adrenaline-generating hairpins, sweepers, chicanes and jumps. Hear the commands, watch the flag, then GO for it!

Briefing is followed by 5 practice laps. A second driving session of 15 laps is against the clock. Make the final for even more laps, and maybe a bottle of bubbly as the winner!

The one night stay at a luxury AA 4-star Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Co. Cavan can be taken the evening before or after the experience. Prospect Bay is located a short drive away beside Brackley Lake with lake and mountain views in all directions. If you choose to arrive the evening before, your activities will commence after a delicious breakfast the following morning. Alternatively you can opt to stay the night following your activities, and enjoy the excellent choice of local restaurants and lively evening entertainment. If you are heading home after your activities your room will continue to be available for use for an hour after your activity, allowing you to shower and change before departure.

This Dirty Weekend Experience Break for Two voucher is for two persons sharing a twin or double en-suite room.

Vital Information

There is an age and weight restriction in place. Only persons over 16 years and no more than 17 stone can go Hovercrafting. Once you have booked this experience, it is not possible to change the date.

Hovercrafting can be affected by high winds; in case of weather cancellations participants will be contacted directly to reschedule this Experience.
