This is the perfect gift idea for those fascinated with the phenomena of flying. In this hands-on Flying Lesson you will be given a pre-flight briefing by your instructor in order to get to know how the machine works and to get familiar with the controls. He will also go through the safety instructions and tell you what to expect during your Flying Lesson.
After all safety instructions are prepared for lift off. Your instructor will take care of the lift off, but once you are up in the air, you are the pilot. Wearing a headset during your whole flight, you will have all the necessary assistance to handle an aircraft. You as the student will be supervised all the time by our experienced pilot, so that he can get a complete insight in handling this aircraft. Following your landing you'll have a short de-brief and a certificate presentation.
If you are interested in becoming a pilot, then this is a great start. This flying lesson may also count on your private pilot license.
Minimum age is 15 years to log the flying lesson. Maximum weight is 20 stone (approx. 130 kg) and maximum height is 6 ft 5 (2, 4 metres).
Your Flying Lesson is a weather dependent activity and it is crucial that you call the centre for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled due to the weather it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.
Your Flying Lesson will last for approximately 45 minutes, with 15 minutes briefing and your 30 minute flight.
Your briefing may be shared but your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor. The price mentioned above is for one participant only.
Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land during your Flying Lesson.
Dress comfortably and wear flat-soled shoes during your Flying Lesson. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
This experience is usually available seven days a week, all year round. Please note that this experience is very popular and particularly busy during weekend, so bookings should be made at least one month in advance. Flights during winter months are generally run earlier in the day during daylight hours and all bookings are subject to the date being available.
