Before you start your 30 minutes Helicopter Flying Lesson you will be given a pre-flight briefing which consists of a safety briefing and a walk around the aircraft where you will learn which effects have the controls on the helicopter. During this hands-on experience the Helicopter Flying student will be supervised all the time by our experienced pilots. We want you to gain a complete insight in Helicopter Flying. That's why our instructors will demonstrate climbs, descents, straight and level flight, as well as a simulated engine failure.
Practice to hover with the Robinson R22 on your own, but be sure that you will be supervised by the instructor all the time during your Helicopter Lesson. As well as the pre-flight briefing you will receive a briefing after you had your hands-on experience in order to answer all the questions you might have.
Experience Hunters must be at least 18 years old .Maximum weight is 100kg, if it is more than 100 kg then it requires a prior notification of the exact weight.
For safety reasons this Helicopter Flying Lesson is dependent on visibility and wind conditions. Customers will be informed on the date arranged, if conditions are not suitable.
Your Helicopter Flying Lesson will last 60 minutes, consisting of a 30 minutes pre-briefing and a 30 minutes hands-on flying experience.
As this is a one-to-one experience only one person can partake in this Helicopter Flying Lesson.
Are warmly welcome to watch you take off during your Helicopter Flying Lesson and land from our viewing gallery including restaurant facilities. Please feel free to bring a pair of binoculars and a camera.
To attend the 30 minutes Helicopter Flying Lesson wear loose, comfortable clothing, as the cockpit can get warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Our 30 minutes Helicopter Flying Lesson is available all year round for 7 days a week during daylight hours. Please be advised that Dublin City Centre is a Prohibited Landing Zone.
