The Experience
Your visit begins with a welcome from an experienced instructor who introduces you to the helicopter and explains how the aircraft behaves in flight. During the briefing you’ll learn how the controls influence movement and how the helicopter responds when small adjustments are made.
After the briefing you will walk out to the helicopter where the instructor prepares the aircraft for departure. Once seated in the cockpit, the engine starts and the rotor blades begin to build speed before the helicopter lifts gently from the ground. The lift-off moment quickly shows how different helicopter flight feels compared with travelling in a standard aircraft.
Soon after take-off the instructor demonstrates how the controls respond while the helicopter moves around the airfield. With guidance throughout the lesson, the pilot participant will have the opportunity to handle the helicopter and experience how careful control keeps the aircraft steady in the air.
The flight includes around twenty-five minutes in the air. This allows enough time to settle into the experience while gaining a real sense of helicopter flight.
The experience is designed for one person taking the flying lesson. A second person may join the flight as a passenger and enjoy the journey from the passenger seat.

Important Information
You must be over 15 years or age.
You must be able to enter/exit the aircraft unaided.
There is a height restriction for students of 6 ft 4 inches, and a maximum weight of 252 lb per person.
Failure to attend a pre-booked lesson will result in the voucher becoming void.
Consumption of alcohol or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the day and will result in cancellation of the lesson.

The Weather
The flight operator reserves the right to postpone due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. weather conditions. In this event, the voucher holder will have the opportunity to reschedule the event.
Session Length
Your voucher includes 25 minutes flight time and 15 minutes pre and post flight briefing.
Numbers
Your voucher is valid for one or two passengers to enjoy.
Spectators
Spectators/Friends are welcome but there may be restrictions due to safety regulations.
What To Wear
Wear loose, comfortable clothing during your helicopter flying lesson, as the cockpit can get warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Availability
This flying lesson is available 7 days a week during daylight hours.
