Vital Information

You must be sufficiently agile to climb in and out of the basket, which is about 42 inches (1.1 m) high and stand for around an hour. Children must be at least 8 years old and over 4'6" high (1.4m). A child under the age of 16 years will only be flown if accompanied by a responsible adult appointed by the parent(s) or guardian. Maximum weight is 18 stones (114kg). You should not fly if you are suffering from any significant medical condition, or have recently undergone surgery. You may be asked to provide a certificate of your fitness to fly from your doctor or specialist. You must not fly if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Your Hot Air Balloon Flight is very weather dependent. Please be advised to phone the location prior to the flight to check weather conditions. If it is unsuitable, please reschedule for another convenient day.

Session Length

The Hot Air Balloon Flight has an approximate total flying time of 1 hour, however participants and spectators are encouraged to participate in the pre and post flight preparations of the Hot Air Balloon Flight. Guest should allow 3 to 4 hours for the whole experience.

Spectators

Spectators are more than welcome to participate in the pre and post flight preparation of the Hot Air Balloon, as well as watch you take off into the sky. Spectators are encouraged to join in on the Hot Air Balloon Flight in Ireland experience by purchasing additional gift experience vouchers.

Dress Code

During the Hot Air Balloon Flight in Ireland it is recommended to wear clothing suitable for the appropriate time of year, preferably made of natural fibres, and waterproof walking shoes or boots. You may wish to wear a hat during your Hot Air Balloon flight to protect your head from the heat of the burners. Women are recommended to wear trousers during the Hot Air Balloon in Ireland.
