The Experience

Learn how to climb on the rock face and kayak in the Climbing & Kayak Experience.
Start your adventure off by learning how to climb and scale rock faces in the Climbing & Kayak Experience Day. We offer our climbers two sites for rock climbing; Little Killary our first site is accessible by car and our second site, Mweelrea is only accessible by boat. Learn from experienced and trained instructors how to scale rock faces and abseil down safely.

Learn how to kayak with the Climbing and Kayaking day. We offer two types of kayaks, the sea kayak and top kayak. Sea kayaks with their enclosed cockpits are great for discovering the deep waters of the Fjord using a double sided paddle, and the top kayak is as suggested without an enclosed cockpit. During your day your experienced instructor will give you the option of a relaxing kayaking adventure to Seal Island where you can paddle amongst the seals basking in the sun and take in the beautiful landscapes of Ireland, or you are welcomed to test your kayaking skills with challenges from your instructor, such as swapping kayaks with another person without getting wet; good luck! Have fun with friends and family in the Climbing & Kayak Experience.

Vital Information

To participate in the Climbing & Kayak Experience, individuals must be 8+ years of age and fit safely into our buoyancy aids. This adventure requires a minimum of 4 participants to run the activity. Please call to check for the availability of the Climbing & Kayak Experience.

The Weather

The Climbing & Kayak Experience is not dependant on weather, so it’s a good idea to come prepared for any weather.

Session Length

The Climbing & Kayak Experience lasts 6hours; starting from 10am-1pm with a break for lunch and then continuing in the afternoon from 2pm-5pm.

Numbers

This adventure requires a minimum of 4 participants to run the activity. Please note that the voucher price above allows for one participant only.

Spectators

Spectators are not allowed but are instead encouraged to purchase additional vouchers to join the Climbing & Kayak Experience.

Dress Code

Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring a rain jacket just incase.

Availability

The Climbing & Kayak Experience are available daily and all year around. Please book your adventure two weeks in advance to ensure availability for your date of choice.
