Itinerary
Day 1
- Spend time in Galway to do some shopping or just enjoy the flair of the city
- Travel to Connemara
- Overnight stay in Killary Harbour for next 3 nights
Day 2
- 4 hours walk to Beebaun
- Relaxing at Kylemore Abbey
- Dinner and Irish Dancing in the evening
Day 3
- First option you will have a walk on old famine road along ruins of villages
- Second option will be a walk up over Maumean, a small mountain, which finishes at Lough Inagh Lodge, where you can relax
Day 4
- Walk on Croagh Patrick, a sacred place where Patrick, the patron saint, spent 40 days
and nights praying and fasting in 441AD
- Tonight’s stay will be in Westport
Day 5
- Visit the museum of Country Live, close to Westport
- Free day for everyone
- Option of having a seaweed bath in Strandhill
- Stopover at William Butler Yeats grave in Drumcliffe
- Arrival in Donegal late in the afternoon
Day 6
- A day in Donegal town
- A 6.5miles walk over Ireland's finest sea-cliffs
- Overnight stay in a family-run hostel outside of Donegal
Day 7
- A walk through streets of Londonderry
- A walk along the Causeway Coast,
- Stopover at Crushendun, National Trust preserved village
- Stay for two nights in hamlet of Ballintoy
Day 8
- Walk from Ballintoy to the Giant's Causeway
Day 9
- Return to Dublin with stopover in Belfast City & tour around the city centre
- Visit the tomb Newgrange
- Meeting in the evening for reminiscing over our tour
