The Experience

The Private Hawk Walk experience is a perfect experience for anybody who wants to do something extraordinary. Your Hawk Walk experience will last for 60 minutes and is not shared with other participants, unless you want to do it with people you know. You will be flying a beautiful hawk around the beautiful grounds that surrounds the exclusive Ashford Castle. As you fly the hawk around the gardens of Ashford Castle, your falconer will explain about the history of falconry, the hawks’ exceptional eyesight, their speed and agility and how the hawks are trained.

Vital Information

Minimum age for the Private Hawk walk experience is 7 years old. The experience is private and not shared with other participants. Reduced rates applies for additional participants, please contact customer service for more information.

The Weather

The Private Hawk Walk experience is not fully weather dependent, in case of heavy rain the Hawks will not be able to fly well.

Session Length

This falconry experience lasts for 60 minutes.

Spectators

A small number of Spectators are welcome to accompany the participant, free of charge. To be part of the falconry experience, spectators are encouraged to purchase additional vouchers to experience the whole Hawk Walk.
