The Experience Share a wildlife day out on Ireland’s south coast.
Your Dolphin and Whale Watching in Ireland (Family Ticket) gives four people a relaxed introduction to West Cork’s marine life. Depart from Baltimore Harbour and head into open water with an experienced crew who know these routes well. The twin-engine catamaran is fast and stable, with good visibility from the deck and the wheelhouse seating.
Depending on the season, you may encounter minke, fin or humpback whales. Common and bottlenose dolphins are frequent visitors, and seals rest on nearby shores. Harbour porpoises and a range of seabirds also appear across the year. Sightings vary with conditions, but the crew work to give you the best chance.
Midway through, there is often a short stop at Cape Clear Island. Use the break to stretch your legs or grab refreshments before the return to Baltimore along the scenic coastline. On board, you’ll find a toilet and safety equipment for peace of mind.
