The Experience
This adrenaline filled adventure is like no other, it's a fantastic way to experience the wonders of the natural Northern Irish coastline with all the family. A wild fusion of rock climbing, scrambling, swimming and cliff jumping is a full on adrenaline fuelled guaranteed experience is sure to get all of the familys heart pumping and the blood rushing.
This experience is considered a natural primitive activity with no equipment such as ropes or climbing harnesses, just basic safety wear, enabling total freedom of your movement you'll be assisted by seasoned experts with over 15 years of experience in coasteering and adhere to best practice principles for coasteering. You'll learn rock climbing and scrambling techniques as well as how to jump from great heights safely. The change of tides, waves and beautiful serene wildlife is an amazing experience which is challenging, thrilling and suitable for ages and abilities.
Vital Information
This experience of Coasteering is suitable for anyone age 10 or over in good health. Ages between 3 and 10 can participate in coasteering activities, contact us for more information.
The Weather
Some venues need certain conditions in the sea state to make them safe.
Session Length
A standard Coasteering session lasts 2.5 hours depending on group size.
Numbers
You will share this family experience with up to the average group size of 10-12 people. The experience is eligible for 1 adult and 2 children or 2 adults and 1 child.
Spectators
The session will be in a pretty secluded area but spectators can do at their own risk.
What to Wear
All of the special equipment you will need will be provided, including warm winter wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids. You need to bring Swimwear for under the wetsuit, a towel and some sturdy old footwear such as trainers and light boots. (sandals and neoprene footwear are not appropriate). Shorts for over the wetsuits (brighter the better) must be worn or participation may not be allowed as they protect the wetsuit from getting torn or ripped.
