Expert guides will take you on a 30-40 minute gripping tour of the iconic Globe Theatre, bringing the space to life with colourful stories of the 1599 Globe, of the reconstruction process in the 1990s, and of how the 'wooden O' works today as an imaginative and experimental theatrical space. You will also have all-day access to the Exhibition which is based under the Globe Theatre for which a complimentary audio guide is available!
Vital Information
Shakespeare's Globe theatre tour and exhibition runs everyday, all year round with the exception of the 24th and 25th December.
The Weather
The Globe theatre is an open-air arena, which means that if you are in the yard on your tour you may get wet. It is advised to bring waterproofs, especially in winter.
Session Length
Shakespeare's Globe theatre tour will last approximately 30-40 minutes. You will have all-day access to the exhibition, which a complimentary audio is included. We recommend you to allow 1 hour 30 minutes for you visit.
