Your journey begins as your steward welcomes you aboard the Northern Belle to your comfortable armchair seat. Elegant tables laid with starched tablecloths, uniquely branded silverware and highly polished glasses complement the luxurious carriages.
Fine dining is a highlight of every journey and, once you have settled in, a delicious brunch with a Bellini is served as you travel towards London. In the care of your steward, sit back and relax in the convivial atmosphere, enjoying the views from your window. On the Northern Belle, the journey is as exciting as the destination.
On arrival at Hounslow station you will be transferred to the Gardens to explore at your leisure. We will also give you a voucher for a coffee and a cake which you can use in the Gardens.
Founded in 1840, from the exotic garden at Kew Park in Middlesex, England, its living collections includes some of the 27,000 taxa curated by Royal Botanic Gardens while the herbarium, which is one of the largest in the world, has over 8.5 million preserved plant and fungal specimens. The library contains more than 750,000 volumes, and the illustrations collection contains more than 175,000 prints and drawings of plants. It is one of London's top tourist attractions and is a World Heritage Site.
The park is large, so plan your time carefly and choose from many attractions including the famous palm house, the giant pagoda, the Magnolia walk, the oak collection, the Rhododendron Dell ,the climbers and creepers glass house and Kew Palace to name but a few.
After a wonderf day of discovery, make your way back to the station for your return journey. We welcome you back on board the Northern Belle with a refreshing glass of champagne.
Later, you are served a sumptuous five-course dinner accompanied by half a bottle of wine as we travel our way home.

You may share a table with other participants. A guaranteed table for 2 people can sometimes be reserved at an extra cost (generally £150 per couple), please request this in the form opposite.
The train is not suitable for wheelchair users. A wheelchair can be stored on board (if foldable), but can't be used on the train. Please note: Train tickets are dispatched 5-7 days prior to departure.
