The Experience
Your experience starts on the ground where you will check in with the crew and register for your jump. From there, you are introduced to your instructors who will walk you through the essential safety procedures so you know exactly what to expect before heading up.
Next is the harness fitting. The crew will secure you into a heavy-duty safety harness, double-checking all the straps and connections to make sure everything is completely secure. Once all the safety checks are finished, you will head up to the jump platform on the crane, rising 160 feet above the ground. If you booked a tandem jump, you and your partner will be harnessed up together before making the climb.
At the top, the views across the London rooftops open up around you, offering a quiet moment to look out over the capital from a very different angle. Your instructor will guide you to the edge of the platform and help you get into position, whether you have chosen to face forward or try a backward jump.
When the countdown ends, you take the step. The freefall is fast and immediate, followed by the elastic cord catching you smoothly as you bounce above the ground. After a few rebounds, you are lowered down to a soft landing pad where the ground crew will help you out of your harness. Because you have a choice between King's Cross and Battersea Park, you can easily plan a meal or drinks nearby to celebrate after you finish.
