Your visit starts as soon as you arrive at Ardgillan Castle. As this is a self guided tour you can wander around the rooms at your own pace and really take in the impressive interior.
You will step inside the magnificent Drawing Room and admire the detailed decorative woodwork and see where the Taylor family once gathered. From there you will go into the Dining Room where you can inspect the period furniture and then wander on through into the library to view the original shelves and book collections.
You will then head down into the working kitchens that served as the heart of the house. In the kitchen you will gain an understanding about the culinary preparations and the daily operations carried out during the property's heyday.
Complete your visit by heading outdoors to stroll through the castle gardens and glasshouses!
Transport to the castle is not included.
