Your day out begins when you arrive at Ardgillan Castle and head inside with your family to explore the interior. Because this is a self guided visit you can walk through at your families pace.
You will get to wander through the main living quarters, which were used by the Taylor family, starting with the Drawing Room and then the formal Dining Room. From there you can browse book collections in the library before going downstairs to visit the working kitchens. Here you will learn all about the daily operations and how the staff would cater for the entire household.
Once you have finished looking through the house you can visit the castle gardens and go inside the glasshouses. The whole family can then enjoy the Fairy Tree Trail.
