The Experience
The Dublin Food Tour offers a welcoming way to experience the city through its best dishes.
Your guide begins the tour at Trinity College, where a short introduction sets the tone for the walk ahead. The first stop features an Irish coffee masterclass paired with a homemade brownie, which creates a warm start to the experience. From there, you continue to a local bakery known for simple, well-made favourites that reflect Dublin’s everyday food culture.
The tour includes a tasting of Irish cheeses, followed by a fresh oyster prepared on the spot. These stops highlight the variety of food traditions found across Ireland, from coastal ingredients to dairy with a long heritage. A visit to a nearby restaurant provides a chance to enjoy a serving of Irish stew, which remains one of the country’s most recognisable dishes. Artisanal ice cream follows, with classic and seasonal flavours that offer a lighter finish.
As with many guided food tours, a secret dish is included. Your guide will share its story at the appropriate moment. Throughout the walk, the pace remains steady and allows time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. You will also gain insight into Dublin’s culture, as each location contributes something different to the experience.
Explore Dublin through its dishes and learn how each flavour connects to the city!
