Your visit will start when you step inside the General Post Office. As you go through the museum you will learn how events set in motion the creation of the Irish Republic.
You will get to engage with interactive screens using electronic touch screens. You will also get the chance to watch a dedicated film created specifically for the museum that breaks down the timeline of the conflict.
Because this is a self guided tour you can spend as much time as you like inspecting the artefacts or reading through the background stories. You will also get a look at how the building fit into broader modern Irish history after the revolution concluded.
Complete your visit with a clear understanding of Ireland's modern history!
