The Experience
Your From Barry Island: Gavin and Stacey tour kicks off at Stacey's home, where you’ll step inside to relive some of the show's most unforgettable scenes. Meet your guide and coach at the Station Approach Road bus stop (near the roundabout leading to Friars Road) at Barry Island, close to the entrance of the public car park. If arriving by train, exit Barry Island railway station, turn left, take the first right, and you’ll find Dave’s coach on the left at the end of the road.
From there, you'll visit the lively arcade where Nessa works, a perfect spot for snapping photos and reminiscing. Next, the tour moves on to the church where Nessa almost married Dave, allowing you to soak in the drama and humour of those famous scenes. Afterwards, enjoy the scenic Barry Island seafront, taking in the breathtaking views and vibrant atmosphere.
Throughout the journey, your expert guide will share behind-the-scenes stories and trivia, bringing the world of Gavin and Stacey to life. To top it all off, you'll enjoy an exclusive opportunity to step inside Stacey and Gwen's home, offering a unique glimpse into the heart of the show where many memorable moments were filmed.
