The Experience
Your spooky evening starts at Lynch's Castle to learn about the merchant families who governed the city. You will hear stories of how the powerful Tribes of Galway shaped the city's early development and you will stand by Lynch's Window to hear the 1493 story of a mayor executing his own son.
You will then stroll past the Spanish Ach and out along the Long Walk whilst listening to waterfront tales of famine victims and missing sailors by the River Corrib. Will you see the shadowy figures that are said to roam the streets after dark!
Your walking tour will end at The King's Head Pub on Shop Street where you will get to sample the exclusive Blood Red Ale brewed specially for the historic pub.
