The Experience

You will start your adventure by hopping on a RIB vessel at Camel Estuary and heading towards the Atlantic Ocean. You'll explore around 25 miles of breathtaking coastline, with opportunities to spot a variety of marine life. As you approach designated areas, your boat captain will slow down to increase your chances of seeing seals, dolphins, porpoises, whales, and even sunfish.

You'll need to keep a lookout for seabirds like gannets, shearwaters, fulmars, oystercatchers, shags, and cormorants. If you're visiting between April and July, the cliffs will be teeming with nesting guillemots and razorbills. Don’t miss the chance to visit "Puffin Island," one of the last places in Cornwall where you might catch a glimpse of puffins.

Throughout the trip, you'll learn about the wildlife and local heritage of the area. Weather and sea conditions permitting, you might also visit Port Isaac, known from 'Doc Martin', or Trevose Head for a unique view of the new Padstow Lifeboat Station.

This trip is a must for all sea life lovers!

Vital Information

The boats used are open-top RIBs, therefore, they are fast and bouncy when traveling. Choppy conditions are experienced more often than not, so please bear this in mind when booking. Wildlife spotting is not guaranteed, but the activity provider will try their very best to find as much as possible for you during the trip.

The Weather

The weather may affect the boat being able to run, however this happens in rare circumstances. It's best to check with the location the day before your experience is due to take place, especially if it is bad weather.

Your sealife safari will last for two hours.

This experience is for one adult. Naturally you can book additional vouchers to enjoy this experience with friends. You will share this experience with a group of people.

Spectators

Spectators are allowed at the shore.

What To Wear

It is recommended that you wear warm comfortable clothes and waterproof shoes if possible. Waterproof jackets and trousers are given out to be worn and life jackets will be provided.
