THE JOURNEY
Soon a delicious brunch is served. As you savour each sumptuous course, take time to admire the handcrafted design details around you, which evoke the opulence of 1930s "Belle" trains. As the train makes its way to Perthshire, admire the beautiful scenery unfolding outside your window. Sit back, relax and let the stewards take care of your every need. On Northern Belle, the journey is as thrilling as the destination.
On arrival in Dundee, you will be met and escorted by coach to Scone Palace, which is poised above the River Tay with the Grampian Mountains in the background. Here you are given a tour of the palace, home to the Earls of Mansfield for the last 400 years, which boasts superb embroidered silks, sculpted oak fireplaces and breath-taking porcelain collections. The site was the capital of the Picts 1,500 years ago and later the crowning place of the Kings of Scots: a visit here is a walk in the footsteps of Scotland's ancient founding fathers. Take time to enjoy the remarkable gardens, with their giant redwoods, Noble firs and striking star-shaped maze.
After your fascinating visit, you are welcomed back on board the train with champagne and canapés. Settle back into your chair and anticipate the gastronomic highlight to come-a five-course dinner of seasonal specialties, accompanied by our sommelier's selection of wine. Savour the fine cuisine, the convivial company and the unique ambience of Northern Belle as the train wends its way home.

The train is not suitable for wheelchair users. A wheelchair can be stored on board (if foldable), but can't be used on the train. Please note: Train tickets are dispatched 5-7 days prior to departure.
