Your visit begins when you head past the castle and start walking the grounds. The route will lead you straight into the private walled gardens originally built up by Lord Talbot. You will see thousands of distinct plant varieties from around the world as you wander through the private walled gardens.
You will then visit the heated glass domed Butterfly House. The glasshouse is kept warm and humid to suit the tropical greenery, with hundreds of colourful butterflies flying freely around and landing on the leaves right next to you. There is also Informative boards that explain how the different species live and feed.
You will then head out along the woodland trail that runs through the older trees on the estate. The path is a quiet route fitted with small wooden houses, hidden doors and puzzle panels throughout the greenery. The walk is self guided so you can take you time to explore.
Head outside and explore the gardens at your own pace!
