The Experience
Your 60 Minute Microlight Flying Lesson in Essex offers the chance to discover the excitement of flying from the pilot’s seat. You’ll take to the air in a three-axis, fixed-wing Ikarus C42 - one of the UK’s most popular training aircraft.
Your experience begins at the airfield, where you’ll meet your qualified flying instructor for a detailed pre-flight briefing. They’ll guide you through essential safety checks and prepare you for what to expect once you’re airborne. After take-off, you’ll head toward the local training area, taking in views of the Essex countryside and coastline.
During the flight, you’ll have the opportunity to take the controls yourself and learn how to handle the aircraft under expert supervision. The lesson concludes with a debrief and the presentation of a souvenir flight certificate to mark your achievement.
