Take a closer look at Irish whiskey’s roots with a guided distillery tour.
The Midleton Distillery Experience Tour is a 75-minute journey, based at the original Midleton Distillery in Cork. You’ll be guided through the site by one of the distillery’s friendly ambassadors, who will share insights into the people, places and processes that shaped seven iconic whiskey brands.
The tour begins with a short film introducing the distillery’s heritage. You’ll then explore several key buildings, including the old warehouses, and learn how traditional production methods still influence the whiskey made today. Along the way, you’ll discover stories from the people behind the craft and get a real feel for what sets Midleton apart.
Your visit ends with a guided tasting of three premium whiskeys, including Jameson, and a complimentary drink to enjoy before you leave.
Tours run daily, with morning and afternoon options available. Group sizes are limited to 35 guests to keep the experience personal and relaxed.

Vital Information
In order to taste Jameson Whiskey you must be over the age of 18. Ample free parking is available at the Distillery.
Alcohol cannot be sold in the gift shop or bar before 10:30am Monday–Saturday or before 12:30pm on Sundays. Tastings during the tour are unaffected.
