The Porsche 911 has been turning heads for decades, but its reputation goes far beyond its distinctive looks. It's a sports car built around the pleasure of driving, and this experience at WhiteRiver Park in County Louth gives you the opportunity to find out why.
One of the things that makes the 911 different is its rear-mounted engine. Combined with the car's responsive handling, it gives the Porsche a character of its own. You don't need to be a motoring expert to appreciate how enjoyable it feels from the driver's seat.
Your experience begins with a safety briefing and tuition from an experienced instructor. Once you're ready, you'll head onto WhiteRiver Park's outdoor circuit for three laps, with your instructor alongside you to help you get a feel for the Porsche.
There's a reason the 911 has remained one of the world's most recognisable sports cars. This is your chance to discover its appeal for yourself rather than simply reading about it or watching one on television.
Standard insurance covers you to drive the Porsche 911 at WhiteRiver Park, with a €5,000 excess in place. An optional insurance waiver is available to reduce this excess to zero.
The insurance waiver costs €30 and is payable directly to the operator at the time of booking.
Drivers must be aged 17 or over and hold a valid driving licence.
