Experience the story of Smithwick's together in the heart of Kilkenny, with a guided tour through centuries of brewing history followed by a tasting paddle of four Irish ales and beers each.
Your visit begins with a 45-minute guided experience led by a local Kilkenny storyteller. Discover how Smithwick's developed over more than 300 years and explore the close relationship between the brewery and the city it calls home.
Interactive exhibits help reveal the history behind the famous Irish ale, while your guide shares stories about the people who helped make Smithwick's such a recognisable name.
After the tour, you'll both enjoy a tasting paddle featuring four popular Irish ales and beers. Take your time trying the different varieties and comparing their flavours. It's an enjoyable way to explore Irish brewing beyond the traditional pint.
You'll also have the opportunity to browse the exclusive Smithwick's retail shop before your visit comes to an end.
