The Experience
Take part in the fascinating experience that is Silver Ring Making. Get yourself a beautiful new ring or even gift it to someone you cherish. During your experience you will learn all of the techniques needed to craft a beautiful piece of jewellery, and have an amazing time doing it.
You will learn the basics of goldsmithing in this workshop and learn a variety of techniques used to make your desired ring.
The key things you will learn on this experience are:
– How to pierce cut and saw silver
– How to make a ring with pliars
– You will watch it being soldered for safety and your instructor will explain he process to you
– How to texture the ring using a planishing hammer- choose from 3 finishes
– Watch your ring be polished and understand why this is so vital
Tea, coffee, and biscuits are also provided to help keep your energy levels up as you work on your beautiful piece.

You must be 18 years or over to carry out this experience.

This experience is no dependant on weather conditions.

Your ring making experience will last around 2 hours.

This experience is for one person but you will be taking part in this within a group of 6 or more.
