The Experience
Put your skills to the test with the White Water Rafting Experience in Nottinghamshire and Perthshire and rebel against the mighty white water for a wet, wild and wicked ride over turbulent rapids. You'll begin with a full safety briefing before an experienced river guide takes you for a fun series of rides down some of Britain's best white water experiences. The white water grading system goes from 1 (relaxed) to 6 (too rough to offer commercially).

Maximum chest girth 60'' and maximum weight is 16 stone and it most cases you need to be confident in the water with a buoyancy aid. For safety reasons the centres reserve the right to test your fitness. Please advise us in advance of any disabilities.
We will advise you to contact the centre a few days before your booked date, if appropriate, to double-check water levels. You may be expected to jump from the raft into still practice waters as part of your initial training session.

White water rafting started accidentally in the mid 1800s. It's said that Major John Wesley Powell, whilst exploring a river system, ran into the wild rapids of the Colorado River running through Glen Canyon in Utah and the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
