The Camden Market Food Tour is an official guided experience created with Camden Market, offering access that goes beyond a casual visit. Led by a knowledgeable guide, the tour explores the market through its food while reflecting the area’s creative and rebellious character. The focus stays on flavour and the stories behind the stalls.
The experience begins with one of Camden’s most talked-about street food dishes, freshly prepared birria tacos known for their rich and slow-cooked flavour. From there, you’ll visit a local micro-distillery, where you’ll taste award-winning gin and learn how it’s made. A buttery pastry filled with roasted pork follows, offering a comforting contrast to the earlier spice.
British food takes centre stage next with a selection of traditional cheeses sourced from around the UK. These are paired with unexpected accompaniments and enjoyed alongside a local London cider. As you move deeper into the market, you’ll explore its winding streets before sitting down to enjoy a fusion dish inspired by Chinese and Mediterranean cooking, served with Italian wine.
The tour finishes on a sweet note with a carefully chosen dessert that brings the experience together. Throughout the walk, your guide explains how Camden became a hub for food, fashion and music. As with every tour, a Secret Dish is included and kept under wraps until the day arrives.

Your meeting spot will be outside The Worlds End Pub opposite Camden Town Tube Entrance. Your guide will be waiting with an orange umbrella so they are easy to spot.
You can always tell your guide of any food allergies or special dietary requirements. We have had many vegetarians doing the tour and they all enjoyed it thoroughly. We will adapt the menu so you can fully enjoy the tour!
Unfortunately we can not accommodate gluten and lactose free diet, some of the traditional shops we go to use gluten or lactose in all their food.
